The Playgrounds
We have two playgrounds at the Gardens: The Childrens Playground and the Treetops Adventure Playground. They are vibrant and interactive spaces designed to ignite curiosity and foster a love for nature in young visitors.
The enchanting areas offer hands-on activities, playful sculptures, and educational exhibits that engage children in the wonders of the plant world. From digging in the dirt to discovering the lifecycle of plants, these playgrounds provide a fun and educational environments where kids can explore, learn, and grow. Bring your family and watch as your little ones embark on a botanical adventure, cultivating a lifelong connection to the natural world.
You will also discover our totem pole, carved by master craftsmen and based on traditional North American designs, representing the cycle of life.

Our Children’s Playground is close to the West Lawn, and always a great favourite with our younger visitors. We have fantastic array of play equipment ready to be explored at the Gardens.

Treetops Adventure Playground
Our Treetops Adventure Playground is behind the Wetlands Pond. When using the play equipment in this playground, children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

If you are looking for an adventure you can have with your children that covers the whole of the Gardens, consider a Trail!
Trails are paid add on experiences that will take you around the whole grounds on an adventure of learning and discovery. Follow special maps to seek out and identify specific plants from the Gardens extensive collection.
