Each activity encourages children to explore the Gardens in a whole new way, discovering plants, insects, and wildlife as they go. For budding botanists and little adventurers alike, there’s something to spark every child’s imagination.

Gardens Trail: The Secret Life of Bamboo24th October - 1st November 2026
Explorer the weird, wonderful and slightly spooky side of bamboo. You’ll discover a world of facts about bamboo including just how quickly it can grow (it’s fast!), the bats that make bamboo their home and the secret underground network beneath our feet.
