An invoice will be generated at time of booking, which must be paid at least four weeks before your visit date (or as soon as possible if your booking is within four weeks).

What Support Is Available?

We all know the benefits an educational visit can bring, but we also know that rising travel costs and tighter budgets are making these visits more unattainable. Therefore, please see the options below that may help to reduce the cost of your educational visit to the Botanical Gardens.

Support

NAEE Bursary

NAEE is an independent charitable organisation that supports and promotes teaching and learning about the environment in the formal education sector at all ages.

NAEE’s Hugh Kenrick Days offer schools in the West Midlands the chance to apply for financial support to take pupils out to environmental outdoor centres. Visits are designed to link with the development of environmental work across the curriculum.

The Outdoor Essentials Grant is a £500 award to UK state-funded primary and secondary schools, from The Ernest Cook Trust, to enable them to get their pupils learning outdoors.
