For Families & Little Adventurers
Arachnobot and the Giant Web
Come and weave some magic! Get in creative tangle this Halloween Half Term as we weave a Giant Web across the Gardens’ Main Lawn. A fun and collaborative experience for all ages. Children (aged 4–11) and their grown-ups, can loop, tie, and stretch colourful threads between wooden spindles to create a living piece of art inspired by nature.
But you won’t be spinning alone…
Look out for Arachnobot, the incredible eight-legged mechanical puppet who creeps, crawls, and charms his way around the Gardens at set times each day.

The Spider’s Tangle Trail
Perfect for curious kids (4–11) and their families, the Spider’s Tangle Trail is an interactive adventure through the Gardens. Uncover the secrets of many web types, from spirals to tangles, tunnels to traps! Through playful poetry, glowing discoveries, and fascinating facts you’ll learn all about Britain’s Spiders and their incredible webs.

The Goths Playground Pop-Up Market
The whole family will love exploring The Goths Playground; a four-day pop-up market celebrating the wonderfully weird and the beautifully macabre. Browse a world of gothic and whimsical curiosities, from handmade jewellery and taxidermy to original artwork and alternative clothing, all within a vibrant, family-friendly autumn setting.
