Bring the family along for a playful celebration of bamboo, discover nature’s tricks, treats and seriously impressive superpowers as you build, play, explore and get hands-on with one of the planet’s most extraordinary plants.

What to Expect
The Giant Bamboo Marble Run (on the main lawn)
Meet our brilliant builders, Bam & Boo, and help them create an ever-growing GIANT marble run using lengths of real bamboo, creativity and curiosity.
Get busy experimenting, building and having fun this half term!
Build it, test it, change it and add to it. Create new routes, try out different ideas and discover what works – and what sends your marble flying completely off course!
Bam and Boo will be on hand to help bring your ideas to life. Work together to see just how big, long and brilliantly bonkers it can be.

Meet Bo (on the main lawn and the Terrace)
Theres more bamboo surprises to be found. Meet Bo, our giant bamboo and willow puppet, who will be roaming the Gardens!
Standing at an incredible 13ft tall, Bo loves nothing more than dancing, discovering the outdoors and meeting new friends.
Keep an eye out for Bo – she’s pretty hard to miss and makes for a brilliant photo!
