Horticultural Training


The Birmingham Botanical Gardens will offer 4 horticultural apprenticeships starting in September 2012, with a focus on developing practical skills in garden maintenance and plant care working alongside experienced horticulturists in our extensive plant collections. The training here is ideal for the committed young person who can prove to us that they have a passion for plants.

You must be 19 or under, or 20 and available to undertake the first year of your apprenticeship. The package includes day release for formal training which will be taught on site at the Botanical Gardens by Birmingham Metropolitan College.
